In Germany there were two nights of terror known as Kristallnacht. On these two nights, November 9 and 10, 1938, the Nazis attacked Jewish people in Germany. The mobs threw glass and vandalized stores. They stole from Jewish businesses. One Jewish family became divided after Kristallnacht. Half of them wanted to leave because it was not safe and half wanted to stay because they were not going to be afraid to stay in their own country. The Nazi were playing games on who could be the first one to torture the Jewish the most in the mob. One guy destroyed 10 Jewish stores in Germany and won the grand prize. Hitler was happy on how much progress his mob made. He ended thousands of Jewish lives with the help from the mobs.

We the people of Italy started a parade in a line chanting, "Mussolini is always right.” We were wearing black polished boots, singing and chanting along the line. We were heading along Main Street doing this parade. We were taught to obey strict rules doing this. At every point of the line you would hear, "Mussolini is always right." We young fascists had torch lights held up and we never got tired of saying the same phrase. We were called the Young Fascists of Main Street. We were on the road to greatness for Italy. Some people along the march held portraits of Mussolini. The portraits showed people what Mussolini looked like. They were a symbol for other people to see and to understand who they were marching for. As we marched, people held a bowls of food for us to eat. We all chanted "Mussolini is always right.” 

I am walking down the street on my way to a parade. Before I go to the parade I am planning to meet Ataturk and talk about some ideas with him. I walk to the parade and I spot him standing around. I go over to him and talk about some bad plans to do in Turkey. Ataturk talked to me about only wanting Turkish people and no diversity. I agreed with his plans because I am not a fan of these other races like Armenians in Turkey. I had some experience because I was a soldier killing Armenians. We started killing the other races so it would be only Turkish people in Turkey. After that the country was only filled with Turkish people and Ataturk thought it was successful. Ataturk had another plan that changed Islamic laws to a new one based on European models.

Reflection:

The reason why I chose Turkey, Germany and Italy is because they all had the same background. They were all similar there were crimes being done and a bad government. Their was bad leaders doing bad things and leading people into doing bad things. In the microfictions most of them have violence or protesting which causes conflicts. I think these stories are similar and important and it this is the reason why i chose these 3 specific stories.
