Instructions

After watching the videos, add your reflections here.
1. Are students doing what the teacher has asked of them in an orderly and efficient manner?
2. Name evidence of Ss completing lesson activities, following behavioral expectations and executing routines and transitions effectively.
3. What do you notice about the pacing of the lesson?
4. Describe a content area class where you have seen these processes in action at Denman.

Quick pace, very interactive classroom structures, everyone was on task and engaged, and very respectful/kind classroom culture. It was also a great instructional strategy for the teacher to have all the students write down specifically what that one student said- could be a good strategy to leverage student voice/knowledge and boost their status in class. Have the learning come from the students-- very important!

In Delay's video, yes - Ss quickly transitioned when asked; all Ss appeared to talk to their partner; when time to share occurred, Ss did connect to the prompt; pacing good. Last student who responded - teacher wrote on the DocCam so all Ss could see. Ss were attentive to each other listening & responding. - Jenny and Belinda
