         <description><![CDATA[<p>CCS are the knowledge sets while ATL are the skill sets <span style="font-size: 13px;">By using a CCS strand we can breakdown that standard into which ATL skills are required to met mastery.  So by breaking down the skills needed into various categories (Communication being one of them), we are creating students that have good rhetorical skills and are good orators.</span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>the CCS dictates which ATL to use,  the teachers choose the CCS they want to work with and then they choose which ATL they will use, finally,  the teachers choose how to best incorporate the ATL's to achieve their CCS's.</p><p>these skills help develop successful student IB learners by giving them structure and reason for academic success.</p><p>Using the Bogan structural framework to develop successful students should be made easier since everyone is using the same framework.  Teachers will be able to help each other while not even being in the same discipline</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>CCS are the knowledge sets while ATL are the skill sets.&nbsp;By using a CCS strand we can breakdown that standard into which ATL skills are required to met mastery. ATL uses 10 classifications to help breakdown how to approach (teach) the standard.<br></p><p>The IB learner profile is a way to classify which skills (ATLs) are needed to become an "active, compassionate and lifelong learner." (<i>IB Learner Profile</i>, 1)<span><br></span></p><p>The Bogan Instruction Frame creates a game plan/timetable to achieve our goals of turning all Bogan students into masters of the various categories in the IB learner profile.  The framework allows us (teachers) the time to further deconstruct the ATLs and CCS standards into achievable, reachable, and attainable objectives for our daily lessons and unit plans.</p><p>The description of the successful student allows me to create lessons with within the framework, so I can create a more concrete and lasting scope and sequence.</p><p>I would have to change my teaching to be more transparent and allow my students to really know which ATL, CCS, and/or IB profile category we are addressing.</p>]]></description>
