As a result, I bought head lamps for walking in the woods on winter nights or going to the beach at night. I invested in a firepit so we can sit around even in the freezing cold and see the stars. The main hall of Kelvingrove Museum really fills up with people (often lots of children dancing! ) and the organists usually play a mixture of traditional organ music and fun arrangements of film scores, and at Christmas various festive carols or tunes. This could be perfect for researchers in Glasgow alone over the holiday period looking for a low stakes sense of community, friendly faces, and an excellent heat for free in a shared space.
