         <description><![CDATA[<p>My mother (in school from 1980 to 1993) said that computers, when she was in school, were much different than the ones we use today, they were not as advanced and mobile as modern-day computers, and Google hadn't been invented yet.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Both my mother and my sister(in school from 1998-2010)said that most of the information they retained from school came from books. They read books in class to learn about new topics. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Both my sister and mother said that projectors like this were used in the classroom, this was the OG smartboard. Papers would be placed under a clear glass, a light was shined underneath and the image of the paper was projected onto a screen or wall. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>All three people I interviewed recalled having a whiteboard in the classroom, before the whiteboard there were chalkboards. The whiteboard has stood the test of time. It is a simple technology yet very practical in the classroom.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Tablets are a newer form of technology that has been incorporated into classrooms, one person I interviewed (Karissa my best friend) recalls using tablets as a tool in school. I remember when they were first introduced in the classroom, tablets were very advanced, they were connected to the internet, and portable. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>ClassDojo was an app used by teachers and parents to share, feedback about their child. Students can receive points in class, but they can also lose points. This allowed teachers to keep track of behavior, attendance, and participation. Only one person I interviewed brought up ClassDojo (Karissa, in school 2011-2024) </p>]]></description>
