         <description><![CDATA[<div>The case studies presented are useful in planning the resources that can be used during withdrawal session.&nbsp;<br>Learning by teaching is a good tool to improve student's efficacy, confidence and even communication skills. I've had success using it with my 4 year old. I'm sure our students will greatly benefit from it as well. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Didn’t know I can be my students’ super model!&nbsp;What stood out for me was the impact of observation, imitation and modelling can have on a student’s learning. The application of this theory in my future work would be to incorporate ‘I Do, We Do, You Do’ during the withdrawal sessions to strategise my student’s learning.&nbsp;<br><br>As an AED(LBS), I am in a position to create a learning experience that builds a student’s self efficacy! Hence, I need to be alert of the intervention strategies use so as to equip, enable and empower the student to learn effectively and behaviour appropriately. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is interesting to know that as a group, we managed to read up on our assigned topic and create presentation slides in under an hour. Thanks to great teamwork!&nbsp;<br><br>Also, my main takeaway is that we need to show good examples for students to model our behaviour. It is less effective to constantly tell students what they need to do without modelling it out for them first. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel that as an educator we should model desirable behaviours, emotions and thinking processes for our students. Only then, we will get what we model.<br><br>It is also good to get myself and the students to identify the way we self-regulate. Thus, we are able to manage our learning and emotions.<br><br>In order to be a good and reliable AED LBS, I have to belief that I can come out with appropriate strategies to help the students and don't give up if the strategies doesn't work for the student.<br><br>Lastly, we need good support system to keep us going.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I love the visual cues used for Zones of Regulations from one of the group's sharing. I thought that with those cues, it gives a reminder to our students to be mindful of their actions and the tools suggested to help them get back to the green zone are really useful.<br><br>Educators are the key to student's behavior in the classroom. Our modeling can change their thinking, affect and emotions. Therefore, we have to be responsible to model the right thoughts, words and actions.</div>]]></description>

If we can help students realise that the change has to start somewhere, and it will be easiest to start with themselves because that is within their locus of control. When they have that self-belief, and with our support, things can improve. As AED(LBS), we are like their cheerleaders too. Encourage them along the way, and celebrate small successes as they blossom.</div>]]></description>
