One of the main gods in the story I beta read is Cernunnos. 

He is often depicted with horns, animal features, and with wild animals. His origins are quite mysterious, and we don't know what he exactly the god of. He could have been the god of hunters, the wild, or even fertility.

Something many don't know is that Leprechauns actually don't wear green, so St. Patrick's Day is actually just a fun game, or painful if you don't wear green ;)

Leprechauns are only as tall as a three-year-old kid and according to locals at Carlingford Ireland, there are 236 leprechauns in that region. And lastly, 2009 made a law protecting leprechauns.

It was believed they were all connected by an ash tree called Yggdrasil. Asgard was the world of the realm of the Aesir gods headed by the Allfather Odin. Midgard was Earth. Vanaheim the world of the Vanir gods such as Freyr, and Alfheim the world of elves. Jotunheim was the realm of giants,  Niflheim the realm of ice and cold, Muspelheim the realm of fire, Svartalfheim the home of the dwarves (who made Thor's hammer, Odin's spear, and Sif's hair), and Helheim was the realm of the dishonorable dead overseen by the goddess Hel.

They chose the honorable dead from battlefields and guided them to Vahalla. They were also the messangers of Odin. Valkyrie means chooser of the slain. One famous valkyrie was the daughter of Odin named Brunhildr who was forced to live as a mortal and married a norse hero. They had a daughter named Aslaug.
