I do believe Dementia plays a big role in most old people, anywhere from not being able to remember names to losing or misplacing things. I strongly agree that older people take longer to get over an illness because of how fragile their body is. I strongly disagree with the statement "older people have a smaller vocabulary." Old people are wiser than the younger ones and I am a strong believer that wisdom does in fact come with age. Old people to me are very calm and just come off as harmless in my eyes. I do what I can to help them every chance I get. Simply just speaking to them could make their day. I do not practice ageism.
