Boss Carla, THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything that you have done for the team! When I first work with you I just felt the instant connection. It is probably because we have similar personalities. We are both strong, intimidating, and stubborn. LOL. In a span of 3 years, you have accomplished a lot of things for the team and I thank you for that. I have learned a lot of things from you over the years from being patient to being more organized and detail-oriented. I will miss our bickering and calling you first thing in the morning while you're running. I wish you good luck with your new job. I know you will be successful. I tried my best to stop myself from crying yesterday because I haven't been here that long and you might think I'm weird for crying. I'm happy to have had the opportunity to work with you although it was just for a short time. I wish you'll always be safe and that you'll be happy and valued wherever you go. To our iron woman Carla, I wasn't anticipating that you would be leaving us so soon. I don't know how to put my feelings into words but every day will never be the same and you will be irreplaceable in our hearts. In my years of recruiting I never got the chance to work with a manager as approachable as you. You have taught me that it's okay to step back and breathe, to be more efficient and to come up with solutions as soon as I encounter work concerns. I am truly grateful for all the help that you have given me and thank you for being patient with me as I adjusted from one industry to the next and to the tasks I needed to accomplish. I remembered the 1 on 1s we have and you never failed to amaze me boss, you helped me achieve my goals! Your knowledge and ethic is my strong foundation. Thanks for showing me an opportunity and believing in what I can do. There are times that I felt demotivated but you encouraged me and help me get through it. You're a blessing to us all! You are strong yet kind, you made the word "Ironwoman" alive. I wish you the best Carla! You might be miles away physically but the bond you've created with us is close enough in our hearts.

I don't even know where to begin because every time I think of you leaving, I start to get teary-eyed (like right now).

..but let me just start by thanking you for the free pass and for touring us around Disneyland when we were there in California. The memories we made there will forever be in my heart. :)

Carla, you have helped me A LOT and I know you know that. I will always remember that moment when I shared with you my thoughts about probably leaving by the end of the year if I don't meet my goal as a Recruitment Lead. In just a few days, you came back to me with your plans and with this idea of creating a new role that would better suit me. I really appreciate you for that. You saw something in me that I didn't think I have by then. You made me realize and believe in my potential and you made me trust myself more. I remember I had doubts by then but one of the main reasons why I accepted this Program Coordinator role is because of your faith in me.

A lot of people may be afraid of you, some may be intimidated by your presence and a few (maybe) don't understand you but I hope they see what I (we) see in you. I hope they witness how pure your heart is and I hope they know how generous, fair-minded, loving, and genuine you truly are.

I know it's a hard decision to make and I am so proud of you for thinking of (& for) yourself and your family. I admire you being a strong, independent and courageous woman who at the same time is a family-oriented person who has a lot of love to give and share to the people around you.

Please know that you are very much appreciated by many especially by your family, friends and us, your PI team. We are beyond grateful for all the things & lessons that you've selflessly taught, shared, given to us.

You are an amazing person, Carla. You have eyes for potential and you push (us) people to do more because you have faith in us. You have made our lives different and even more special. You are loved by many. We love you and we can't thank you enough for everything that you did for us. You're the best!

I am moving forward with high hopes. I know I am a better person/leader because of your help and guidance. I will continue to make you and myself proud and I will update you.

I know that you are going to be great and successful in your next job. I have no doubts. If you need someone to talk to, we're just an IG away. Good luck on your next race(s) and on your next adventure(s). You're bound to do bigger and greater things! I am always here, wishing you the best. Stay awesome!
