         <description><![CDATA[<div>Frederick Douglass was born into slavery around 1818 in Talbot County, Maryland. Douglass himself was never sure of his exact birth date. After trying to escape many times he finally succeeded and moved to a slave free state and became a free person. There he got married and became an abolitionist thus fighting for the end of slavery. He was also associated with women suffrage, for example he was at the Geneva convention where a treaty was written on voting.</div>]]></description>

Rosa Park and Martin Luther King took their passion for the Emmitt till death and pushed to start boycotts and protests. Martin Luther Kings famous "I have a dream" speech took place on Emmitt Till's death anniversary. Being that both of their most famous movements came from the aftermath of Emmitt Tills death it can be said that the laws that came from the civil rights movement were created because of Emmitt Till. </div>]]></description>

Also, organizations and monuments have been created to honor them and continue the fight. </div>]]></description>
