I have taught in three different states and 4 different districts. I have have taught kindergarten, first grade and currently second grade. 

I have been married for 15 years. I have three children who will all be in different buildings next school year; high school, middle school and elementary!

Last year my students had access to 6 Chromebooks and 6 tablets in the classroom. This year my students will have access to a computer lab for one 55 minute period every 5 days. Since I will not have access to technology at my finger tips, I am hoping to get some ideas of how to solve this problem using just the Pro-Board and my teacher computer! Most people find this very interesting!! 

I know its the NEW WAY and watched several videos that were posted...none of which changed my mind...just made me realize that I feel comfortable with my decision. I am not to happy that I will have to create a Twitter account, but I will just delete the account after the assignment! 

I tried Facebook several years ago for about 9 months. I found that instead of paying attention to my family, I was more interested in what other family's were doing. It took time and energy away from what really mattered in my life. 

I do not try to convenience people to stay away from social media....I feel that it is an individualized decision. Most people respect that I don't have social media, which means a lot!

I am still learning and taking class on it in July. I really enjoyed how individualized it can be and how I can comment on someones work instantly.  This year as stated before I will not have access to computers daily. So I am not sure how I will use Google classroom this year. 

This is my first online class I have taken, so its a new personal and professional experience for me. I am open minded and hope to get an insight of how the digital world of education can take learning to new levels.
