Biggest takeaway is that leadership doesn't have to mean that you need to step out, but you can be a leader just by inspiring other people through being a better version of yourself

Biggest takeaway-What creates good memories are moments that leave a good impact. The peak of an experience (whether good or bad) will be the one that determines whether or not you find the experience good or bad.

Biggest takeaway: fixing problems only creates the bare minimum/average experience, so we should have the initiative to create especially good memories that will last and make people happy

my biggest takeaway is understanding the way people remember their experiences in a place, like the way they mostly only remember special moments and forget the average or even bad parts, which can largely help with they way we serve and interact with the customers to give them a good experience.

That going out of our way to make their experience a unique one is a way to imbed in the customer's memories

Creating peak experiences:

• Learning the importance of creating an experience for customers which are memorable and unique, not just good / up to standard.

• Acts as a purpose and source of motivation to work, not just doing what we are expected to do but striving to create lasting memories for the customers

Having peaks throughout the journey/place makes it memorable for the receiver. Peaks are important to make sth memorable for somebody.

Today, I learnt about the qualities of leadership and how to effectively lead, by firstly understanding our team mates and creating good relations with them. I am also more familiar with the f&b scene and how it functions, from the front to the back of house and how they are all important in providing memorable experiences for guests.

My biggest takeaway from today would be how little we know ourselves. The slide on 95%(?) believing themselves to be self aware and yet so little of them are actually right. It is a reminder to always keep an open mind and keep doing your best to learn something new.

The second would be the phrase "Don't fix potholes, build high peaks". Do not strive for mediocracy and just smoothening the rough patches, reach for beyond and make things memorable for others.
