This story was very interesting to me. I portrayed this story to be of a woman who is mourning the loss of her husband. The way that Mrs. Mallard is acting, you would think that she loved him so much that she wouldnt be able to live without him. However she realizes she has lived her life for him and starts to see herself living a happier life with him gone. It was a huge surprise in the ending of him not being dead. Her dying of his suprising return makes me feel like she had no other choice. Life with him after realizing what her life could be, would have been the same as dying.

This story was about a girl who is getting a lesson on how to act like a lady and hoe to please others. The teacher in the story is her mother, but it doesn't seem as if they have a very loving relationship toward one another. Instead of explaining what not to do in a nurturing way, she is very brutal and straight forward. The girl just listens and accepts the lesson given to her. It makes me wonder if she'll actually use the information later in her life, or be rebellious and live for herself.

In this play a group of townspeople come together to determine if a woman has killed her husband. The men in the story are sure she committed the crime and the women don't want to believe that she did it. In the end, it is obvious that she did murder him. The women hide the evidence due to feeling that she has a good reason to have done so.

This story is the same story as "Trifles." It is told from the perspective of the women in the story. They place themselves in the shoes of Mrs. Wright, the woman who supposedly killed her husband. They realize that she did not have the happiest life living with her husband. One woman felt guilty of never going to visit her. IN the end they find evidence that she killed him. They protect her by keeping it to themselves. I can imagine the many different ways this story go with a conclusion story.
