Every Sunday, after CJ and his nana get out of church, they ride the bus over to the soup kitchen. This particular Sunday, CJ is full of questions for his nana. He wonders why they have to ride the bus instead of a car, why he doesn't have an iPod like his friend Colby and why they always have to get off in the dirty part of the town. It never fails, his nana will always reply with a positive and encouraging answer.     • Jealous- In the beginning of the story, CJ expressed jealousy towards other people who have more than him.  
    • Imaginative- CJ lets his imagination wander after the blind man tells him to close his eyes. For example,  the blind man to CJ to close his eyes to feel the magic of music. CJ started to imagine sunsets and waves as he became lost in the sound of the music.

    • Faithful- Every Sunday, nana  goes to church and brings her grandson CJ with her. 
    • Caring- Nana goes with CJ to help out at a soup kitchen. She does in hopes of teaching CJ how to be a good person. She also made sure that CJ greeted everyone on the bus.
