         <description><![CDATA[<div>Eww. What are cells? Flees? I don't think so. Uhhhh... Oh... Uh huh... Oh! Cells! The things on me. Well, cells do have things like a Mitochondria! And they are a part of the body which lets us breathe. As a matter of fact, our lungs are a big process of cellular respiration, which have two types of it. Anaerobic cellular respiration, and Aerobic cellular respiration. Which also requires energy, because energy is basically what makes our body <em>work</em>.&nbsp;And working is defined as energy moving. Plus Anaerobic cellular respiration requires no oxygen, like yeast producing carbon dioxide with no oxygen involved in the process. While something like our body, does Aerobic cellular respiration by breathing. For example, oxygen goes in, carbon dioxide comes out.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are several different types of yeast for different uses. Some basic ones are Bakers Yeast, used for bread, cake, etc, Nutritional Yeast, which is a dried, dead yeast (yes yeast is alive) that is an excellent source of protein. There's also Wine yeast, distiller’s yeast, and Brewer Yeast, which is a "by-product of the brewing industry". More on yeast being alive, yeast is in fact, a single cell organism. And as a matter of fact, are not Plants nor Animals! (crazy). Also to gross things out because I can, yeast is underneath your skin, and when you have too much yeast, it can cause an infection.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aerobic and Anaerobic Cellular Respiration. So first of all, let me just get the elephant out of the room. Aerobic means something with oxygen, and Anaerobic means something without oxygen. So basically, Aerobic CR uses oxygen, and Anaerobic CR does not use oxygen. For example, for some small animals, there isn't enough oxygen for them to breathe, so they do Anaerobic CR, and rely on the energy to live. But animals like us, just breathe as we usually do. No extra steps, just the oxygen in, and carbon dioxide out. They may seem much more different after that, but that's probably where the differences end. Both chemical reactions occur in the same area, both have a goal of producing ATP energy, both use glucose as a reactant, and both are Cellular Respiration processes. Crazy enough, I got all this from one source.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So, fermentation as a work it self sound very... off, and weird. But overall they are both mostly necessary. Well, at least we need one of them. Lactic Acid Fermentation is very important in the process of Anaerobic Cellular Respiration. It is used as a process that our muscles do that is used to deal with Pyruvate. This happens when we exercise and don't have enough oxygen. When this happens, we switch from Anaerobic CR to Lactic Acid Fermentation. The other, Alcoholic Fermentation, is mostly for things like wine and beer. It's a complex process that turns yeast to ethanol, carbon dioxide, and other metabolic byproducts. In which all of these are used in beer, wine, etc. But it's also used in our body for rich foods like fruit and vegetable juices. Which also has to do with yeast and other things.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was just informed that if I answer these questions, I get dog treats!<br>1. Qualitative is known as a graph to figure out how many, or how much. For example, how many boys and girls play plants vs zombies? And Quantitative is for why, how, and what. For example, the graph in the anaerobic cellular respiration lab.<br>2. Our independent variable is simply water. The water tempature is changed for different results in the lab. Our controls are the amount of yeast &amp; glucose we put in the beakers, and probably time, because we wait the same amount of time.<br>3. An open system is something like ice melting on a hot frying pan because the air around the reaction can affect it too. And a closed system is something like this experiment, because nothing else besides the things inside the beakers affect the experiment.&nbsp;<br>4. How does tempature impact the rate of anaerobic cellular respiration (fermentation) in yeast? If the water was hotter, then carbon dioxide will be produced depending on the heat, because of the reaction of the yeast &amp; glucose.<br>5 and 6 are in the pictures below.<br>7. This is kind of hard. Maybe about fruit and bread. Fruit because it has to do with cellular respiration, but it didn't talk about anything else, and bread because of the yeast, and maybe we can watch the process of bread from a microscopic view.</div>]]></description>
