My name is Emily Kaneko, I am 15 years old. I have lived in Minnesota my entire life, but I have family in a couple of different states. I have never been outside of the USA before. I have only ever been to Chicago, Florida, Tennessee, and a few other states for trips. I one day want to visit somewhere out of the country. I have a mom, dad, sister, brother and one golden retriever. I love to spend time doing things with my family.

Strengths, Interests, and Needs

Some of things I believe are my strengths is I always try to do the best I can, empathy, and flexibility. Some things I am interested in are cooking, baking, soccer, reading, and listening to music. I don’t think I have many needs for language arts other than having time to work on things in class and being able to work with people.

Summer

This last summer I hung out with my family and a few friends. I mainly played games with my siblings and watched movies. Some things I really enjoyed were swimming, paddle boarding, shopping, seeing family, and going to the state fair. I also started soccer in August. I didn’t really travel over the summer but I still had a great time!

Something That Is Going Well

There are a few things going well in my life. I would say I have become happier and less stressed about little things. I also am improving in soccer over time and am glad i have stuck with it for so long. I have become better at managing my time, or finding time to have for my self. I am sad that summer is over but ready to be busy again.
