Procedure: You will need 3 cups, one will contain cold water , the other hot water and lastly warm water in each cup you will put marshmallows and then you will fill out a worksheet with your predictions if the marshmallow will dissolved or stay solid.

Procedure: Grab two  ziploc bags , fill one ziploc bag with hot water and the other with cold water. The students will be able to show that solids have distinct shapes and that gases and liquids adopt the forms of their surroundings.

Procedure: You will need 5 cups, each cup needs to contain warm water, cold water, vinegar and oil but on your last cup you will pour oil and water.  After pouring the liquids in the cup you will then place a candy cane inside each plastic cup. Compare and analyze a range of combinations, such as solutions consisting of liquids in liquids and solids in liquids. You will then identify what liquid was able to dissolve the candy cane.

Procedure: Remove cap from your ornament.

Squeeze acrylic paint around the outside of the ornament. Try alternating two or three colors. You want a good amount of paint for it to swirl and mix well. Cover the opening with a paper towel, and shake the ornament around to swirl it together and cover the entire surface.

Pour out the excess paint and allow the ornament to dry with the cap off.When the ornament is dry, replace the cap and thread a piece of ribbon through the top.

Procedure: Combine the half-cup glue and the half-cup warm water. Add the snowflake bits and mix. Add the liquid starch gradually and stir with a spoon or your hands until the mixture resembles slime.
