         <description><![CDATA[<div>George Rogers Clark led his group of soldiers from Kaskaskia in Illinois to Fort Sackville in Vincennes Indiana. This was a seventeen day journey in cold weather. Despite their being snow the temperatures were not as bad as they had been in year's past. Clark and his troops arrived at Fort Sackville on February 22nd 1779</div>]]></description>
