Coal brings in money for all economy's .

Helps family's money wise.

It provides needed jobs that help them survive even though they could die on job site.

Coal gives a long term economical gain for people and communities.

The extraction of coal is sustainable because it keep money flowing

Coal is very harmful to everybody.

To the workers, working in the mines, the mines can collapse and some workers die.

Mountains get destroyed, destroys the beauty of the mountains,

because of mountain top removal,

This gets the streams contaminated and

the well water for the citizens and then they have no heathy drinking water.

The workers get to work and get money, but it creates air pollution for the citizen.

It ruins the habitat of the river that is clouded when the miners did,

and hill top removal.

Even though ,coal produces a lot of money for an economy, it is not a sustainable resource. It can cause air and water pollution, which has a negative effect on the environment. Also, coal is very harmful to people. Coal miners and workers health is in danger when they are working. The mountains get destroyed, which ruins recreation for people.

Coal is a fossil fuel created from the decomposition of natural resources. Our group gave it a 2.5 because it is good for the economy but is bad for society and the environment.
