Country/place: Spain-Sevilla

What is it?: For a week, the more than a thousand booths installed in the fairgrounds become the second home of the inhabitants of this city, a space to share and have fun in company until the wee hours of the morning.

Why is it celebrated?: Some councillors had the idea of holding a fair every year in April for three days and for a commercial nature for the purchase and sale.

The Carnival of Cádiz is one of the most famous and important carnivals in Spain, for wich it has been  recognized with the declatation of Festival of Internatonal Tourist Interest.

This celebration does not have a specific origin, it is a tradition that has been going on for many years and has been followed until now.

What is it?: The Moors and Christians is a festival that is celebrated on behalf of these Muslim areas where many years ago there were conflicts over the captivity and rescue of the Virgen de la Cabeza, patron saint of Benamaurel, Zújar and Cúllar, who in both locations have the same representation, the same days of the year and in a similar way. 
4. Why is it celebrated?/Origin: I do not know the origin of this tradition, but I know that it is a very old tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation and has been celebrated every year.
