You're going to make up a story for a new TV series or movie. You can do this with max. 2 people.

  • What's the title of your story?
  • Where does your story take place?
  • Who is your story about?
  • What is the main idea of your story?
  • Why do you think people will like this story?

You can use the stories you read and watched in this step. You can do this English or in Dutch.

In part 2, you've made up a story. In this part, you complete that story and present it/ tell it to your teacher. You may do this with max. 2 people.

  • Describe where your story takes place in three English sentences. This can be a house, a building, a street, a small town. Anywhere you like.
  • Describe the main character(s) in your story in five sentences.
  • Explain the main idea of your story in three sentences.
  • Describe an important scene in five sentences. 
  • Explain why you believe people will like your story in two sentences.

When will I have a V?

- You have fully answered the questions in part 1 in correct English. Minor slip-ups are allowed.
- You tell your story by heart or by only using keywords you've written down. 
- All the questions in part C are aswered comprehensively (uitgebreid).
- The characters in your story, the setting and the plot are 'round' (developed) and not 'flat'. (John is a boy --> Flat. John is a nice young man that really likes fishing during the weekend -->  round (developed).
- The story has a start, middle(plot) and ending. In other words, your story should be complete.
- You show initiative when telling your story. I shouldn't have to ask questions for you to tell me parts of your story.
