The shogun was slightly upset with the recent success of the Christian Europeans in was not until 1612 the Shogun feared religious uprising he would then go on to ban Christianity from the land of Japan. In 1616 The Shogun died and was replaced christianity sprouted of again for two decades until 1637 30.000 Christian Japan citizens were led by a samurai this made the current Shogun furious he feared that the christians were at the brink of a rebellion. The shogun wanted to get rid of the europeans so they were driven out of their land or killed off. The citizens of Japan were then required to worship some form of buddhist.
