I will then show a completed collage to give them an idea of what they will be working towards. The students will be working with a partner to complete the collage. I will then have the pairs share with a group and ask them questions like, what colors did they choose? What are some of the objects in the pictures? Did they find this color difficult or hard to find throughout the magazine? I will then have the students work independently to complete two different colored collages than the one they just completed with their partner. While the students are working, I will be walking around and taking notes as well as clarifying misconceptions and encouraging students.
