Daoism
Daoism, is a philosophical tradition of Chinese origin which emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao. 
Daoism teaches that trusting one's instincts and gut is the path to finding one's true nature.
Daoism three most popular ancient Taoist works include Tao Te Ching written by Laozi, and one written by Lieh Tzu, and another written by Chuang Tzu.

- Founded by Sidharta Guatama, a philosopher who lived in ancient India. He was born into a rich privileged family but he gave up the materiality to figure out answers about life and suffering. 
- Introduced the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
- Believed in Karma, Nirvana, and Enlightenment.

Christianity
- Started by Jesus, a fatherless Jew from Nazareth. Jewish religious leaders at the time felt threatened by him and crucified him. Christians believe that one day he will come back.
- The Bible is the scripture. Paul and Peter compiled the teachings of Jesus Christ (but the system of recollection was very disorganized).
- A meeting was held where figures decided if Jesus was to be considered simply a divine figure/messiah or the descent of god/son of god.

Judaism
- Founded in 700 BCE. The Jewish people were conquered several times by different empires and were exiled and dispersed throughout history.
- Their scriptures are the Tanakh and the Talmud and their leaders are called rabbis.
