         <description><![CDATA[<div>"Significantly narrow and deepen the way time and energy are spent in the classroom." Our shift is to build solid foundations of specific concepts instead of exposing the students to many different concepts on a lower level.  This will develop students that can understand, pull a part, and solve problems in the classroom and in the real world.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students should have a deeper knowledge of what the standards are wanting them to learn, so assessments should be reflective of that. Teachers should also understand the coherence between grade levels before teaching a standard. A formative assessment before starting a standard would give the teacher information about what their students retained and understood from the previous grade level.<br><br></div>]]></description>
