It had many different geographical lands. In the north there was the Hindu Kush mountains the Himalayas. Mountains provide many crucial things to any civilizations. The mountain could provide temporary protection from hostile civilizations. These features helped the Indians lived. The rivers such as the Sarsvati river and the Ganges river.  Rivers, are essential to the life and thrivation of any river valley civilization. The rivers could provide the inhabitants with water,fish and a means of travel to other civilizations. The river could also enrich the soil,making it very fertile. The fertile soil,may allow the soil to grow crops,essential for life. The food for the river could leave to the inhabitants with a surplus of food. The surplus of food can leave the ingabitants With the advancements of technology and the arts. CIties such as Lothal,thrived on the river becoming a powerful port city. Mohenjo Daro used these mountains as shelter from foreign regional powers. The mud could be used to be baked into bricks. WIth bricks houses could be buil, and lead to the advancement of architecture,though the cities are covered under the soil. Also kilns were used to forge items, boosting a cities economical power. These geographical figures would shape thenlandof India and its historical legacy.
