         <description><![CDATA[<p>Our Names: Mekaelia Morgan and Shrivathsan Margam S</p><p><br/></p><p>Dataset: Top Vulnerable Counties, All and by Hazard.</p><p><br/></p><p>This dataset was created by the United States Census Bureau by synthesizing info from datasets submitted by NOAA and FEMA.</p><p><br/></p><p>Description: These organizations are attempting to assess the relatively vulnerabilities of US counties to natural disasters like earthquakes, wildfires, flooding, and hurricanes.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is a social determinant of health because the frequency and intensity of natural disasters can contaminate food, living conditions, disrupt regular access to care, and thereby impede health outcomes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Interesting fact: New York counties were actually the most vulnerable to earthquakes which seems to contradict conventional wisdom about earthquake risks.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Youth Risk Behavior Survey by CDC- Christina and Alessi</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is looking at dietary behaviors, physical activity, and sleep behaviors in youth. One key finding was that just over half of students played on a sports team. This source provides data on gaps in insurance coverage and illustrates how insurance coverage is frequently correlated with socio-economic factors. </p><p>Interest Data: Florida has one of the highest rates of uninsured in the U.S. at 13.4% of the population being uninsured. </p>]]></description>
