In 1943, Greek communist tried overthrowing the Government leading to a civil war, Stalin supported them and sent the group financial aid. President Truman was against communism and created "Truman Doctrine" which gave America the right to send finacial aid to countries being taken over by communism. The greek won this civil war because of U.S later creating the NATO in 1952.

After WW2 the allies had a conference to see who had power over Germany's territory. The eastern half of Germany was powered by the Soviet Union while the Western part was controlled by United States,Great Britain and France. The Soviet Leader Joseph Stalin was against this and wanted a unified communist Berlin. Stalin wanted to remove all western powers out of all the city so he created a blockade. This blockade cut off access to West Berlin limited food,oil,roads, rail lines or other resources. Stalin starved them into submission. President Truman responded to this by creating Berlin Airlift which sent food,fuel and supplies by air, The western Berlin survived and Stalin called off the blockade in 1949

In Oct 1962, Cuba with the Soviets and US had the greatest tension that could've led us to WWIII, Soviet had placed powerful nuclear missiles in Cuba which made US concerned. President Kennedy did not know what to do so he created a Naval blockade which prevented Soviets from bringing more missiles. Kennedy and Khrushchev were having meetings to deescalate, US ended up invading Cuba to stop the missiles and promised to never invaded them. This marked a huge climax that would've led the entire world into a nuclear war.

in 1954 after a war of independence, their Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh freed Vietnam from this French colonial rule, because of this vietnam was split into two. Ho Chi Minh wanted to unite the two halves of a country under communist leadership, and ended up in a civil war with the south side of Vietnam. Two million troops coming from America spent thousands of dollars to fight north Vietnamese communists, this determined a domino theory, which means countries near by can fall down to communism as well.

The citizens went to the wall and the crowds flooded more than 2 million people from East Berlin visited West Berlin to cheer. This was the greatest party in the history of the world people use hammers and picks to knock away chunks of the wall, for the first time Berlin was unified since 1945. The unification was made officially October 3, 1990.
