Background Info: BlacKkKlansman was an overnight success. It gained universal acclaim by telling a true story set in the 1970’s that parallels many of the same social and political issues faced today. Based on the 2014 memoir Black Klansman by Ron Stallworth, the plot takes viewers to Colorado Springs, Colorado in the 1970’s where the city’s first Black police officer attempts to infiltrate and expose the local Ku Klux Klan (KKK) chapter. Background info: Lee Daniels' The Butler on Netflix is about the life of a White House butler who worked for eight presidents, through incomparable change in American history. This movie takes place from 1926-2008, although Cecil Gaines worked for the White House from 1952-1986 serving eight presidents during his time there. This movie walks us through 80 years of obstacles and change in the United States. There is a lot of injustice in this movie but it also give us a little history of all that we had to overcome in order to stand where we are today. There are many important dates in history that are covered in this film like the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as the integration of schools and many more.
Thesis: Through this film we see a lot of injustice, racial violence, civil rights movements, and political activism which this is part of the American evolution and all of this contributes to who we are as a nation today.

Background:The Good Doctor is an American medical drama television series based on the 2013 South Korean series of the same name.  Actor Daniel Dae Kim noticed the original series and bought the rights for his production company.  He began adapting the series and, in 2015, eventually shopped it to CBS, his home network of him.  CBS decided against creating a pilot.  Because Kim felt so strongly about the series, he bought back the rights from CBS.  Eventually, Sony Pictures Television and Kim worked out a deal and brought on David Shore, creator of the Fox medical drama House, to develop the series.

The show’s protagonist is a New York bookstore manager who develops an unhealthy obsession with a customer. Based on the 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes, this plot emphasizes the main character, Joe Goldberg, delusion with love. From the scenes Joe experiences with his girlfriend in love to the scenes in which he stalks her, You shows the viewers the obsession one can experience during a relationship. Background: Gossip Girl first aired on September 2007-2012 on the CW Network. The television show is an American teen drama series based on the novel "Series of The Same." The show focuses on New York Upper East Side teens who are in high school and are influencers, use drugs, fashionable, and manipulate their teachers. On July 2021 a new generations of New York teenagers are introduced to the surveillance of Gossip Girl, an anonymous and omniscient blogger who likes to cause dram on social media, Instagram.
