Us the colonist have become more upset with these new rules you have implemented. Such as the Stamp act, the quartering act, and the Townshend act. Two of those three are taxations to us the people. One taxes so much for a simple stamp, whilst the other focuses on taxing on the basic goods. But the one that infuriates me the most is the Quartering act. The solders you have sent to "protect us" will treat us as the dirt on their soles. They take items from us when we already don't have anything to give. You must understand King George not all of us are living the rich life here, I'm barely able to eat some weeks and these solders require for us to feed them when we can't even feed ourselves. The Townshend act just makes it all the most difficult for us the colonist to build more houses for people to live in. The tea as well!? It infuriates me to my core that someone like you, the great King George cannot even treat the people who have conquiored land in his name.

I am addressing you with this letter to give you a piece of my mind. First of all, the Stamp Tax was a horrible decision by the Prime Minister. Not only did it make the lives of those selling the taxed items such as cards harder, as fewer people wanted to buy the stamp needed after having already paid, but those in charge of collecting the taxes from those products were harassed. Protest groups such as the Sons of Liberty hanged effigies and committed many other violent protests against the act and tax collectors as a whole. Another act that was very ill advised was the Quartering Act. After the repeal of the Stamp Act, which was criticized because of its higher taxes, you sent 10,000 soldiers to the colonies on the whim that average colonists would willingly pay extra tax to not only provide for themselves, but also for whatever soldiers needed supplies.

Why did you pass the tea tax? As a British citizen, I love my tea. Why have you made this holy beverage so expensive? I've heard that you have created the stamp act. I think this isn't fair because we have to pay for stamps to use on pieces of paper. So every time I would like to mail a letter or simply would like to read a newspaper, I have to buy a stamp. This adds on more to the taxes we have to pay, which in my opinion, is unfair.

Dear king George, For i am here today to discuss the new unfair tax laws. It is awful and i in no way agree with it. I hate it and think it should be changed. Not all of us can afford these new taxes.
