Making a difference to our Earth

Something that I do to try to make a difference to the world is picking up trash (litter), taking short showers and little to no baths, turning the lights off right when I am done using it, turning off the sink while I am brushing my teeth. I don't compost but my family and I are thinking about composting which is really good to do, and much much more.

Every time I got out to a restaurant, store, or any place, I like to help out anyone needed if I see it. Specially my family, I help out my brother sometimes with things like the food our just serving the food. I help my mom by taking the clean clothes to my room and organise it, or to clean the whole house.

My brother Nathan loves to learn. He always asks me, "whats it like in 5th grade" and "can you prepare me for 5th grade". Right now hes in first grade and everyday I've been doing flashcards with him to help him get better at math. I read with him. I do vocabulary with him. I love seeing the smile on my brothers face when he answers a question correct.

I own a business! I take recycled cards and turn them into bookmarks and gift tags. Every year I count up my money and I usually get up to $1,500. After I counted the money I would go to a dog shelter and give them $500 dollars! Later that year they would show me all the dogs that I have saved!
