Why do you say so? The activities that highlighted this legacy is seen in the Opening Salvo. Performances done by the students, faculty, and alumni says in their movement on how many talents did the school discovered, taught to share, and continue improving throughout the golden years. One of the activities that I participated during the first day of the Founding Anniversary was the Holy Mass, which unexpectedly, is the same date with the Ash Wednesday. I woke up early in the morning with a smile because the day will be full of thanksgiving for all the blessings that He gave and continue on showering us with grace for another celebration and more years to come. Before the mass, Mr. Erickson S. Javier started the day with catechesis regarding the Lenten Season and practices that we need to preserve during the 40 days. In the homily, our dear president, Fr. Orlindo F. Ordona tackled about the call of conversion and to what aspects of our lives should we reflect on, especially in observing Lent like a true disciple of Christ.

Prayer, Sacrifice, and Alms-giving. Call of authenticity, deepening of relationships, and limitation of time. The Gospel for today talked about Jesus comparing the proper way of praise and worship with those attitude of the Hypocrites. Unfortunately, even though some churches allowed people to come inside, we were not yet ready to go out of the house and be anointed with ash in our forehead, considering the IATF guidelines for COVID-19. We will also not be able to enjoy the rides, stalls, games, and programs that usually occur in a week of joy and happiness. But despite all the suspensions and cancellations, it will not stop us from capturing the true meaning of the school's existence.
