He was born on July 9, 1937. During his time he was considered one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century. he was well known for his unique technique. He would take millions of little photo ad would photoshop them together so it can create one big photo. His patterns were well known. 
2) For these photographs were taken around my neighborhood since i didn't go to the duck pond with the rest of my classmates. I would take a picture of a certain object with my friends on side and slowly keep moving to the right. In photoshop you would go to automate, photo merge and choose your photograph and it will auto merge them. For the Hockney you open all your photos and make it like a puzzle. some will be bigger and others will be smaller.
