Letter Names & Sounds Review

I usually start my Kindergarten reading group with a review of all 26 letters of the alphabet. We do this about once every week or two. We use the SPIRE program's flashcards to review each letter's name and sound at the beginning of our session. We go through all of the consonants first, then the vowels. The kids love to make it a competition and race to see who can say the correct letter name/sound first! This makes it a fun way to review and get warmed up for learning.
