First and foremost, there will be more nuclear families, single parents and only children, when it comes to the family in the past, it’s not the case.  Spouses tend to have only one baby or even don't have any child.
 Secondly, nowadays young people do not need to get married. The main reason is that due to financial pressure, some people can’t afford to have a wedding and raise children.  Other people also think that they can pay their bills and don’t need to marry.

From my POV, there are a various compelling reasons that lead to the reduction of extended family. Firstly, the pressure of economic have positively effects to the size of the family. Spouses tend to have only one baby because the space of their accommodation isn't enough for too many people or the extended family .

Firstly, the young generation wanna have a private house after married, because it's so suitable for their work and husband and wife relationship. for instance, if they live in an extended family, they'll obey the opinion of previous generation that is the main reason lead to divorce. in the other words, accommodation is not enough convinient for a lot people living in, that caused conflict easily and broken the relationship. all in all, i think young generation need to construct a private house
