Something that has been challenging throughout this process is having patience and trusting the process and trusting that in the end it will all come together. One way I have grown is in my confidence. Cyphering really scared me at first but after sessioning and working with the other dancers I have gained a strong confidence in myself and have realized that we are all nervous and improv isn't that scary. I have taught myself to just be more go with the flow and easy going. This was hard at first because I am used to having a set choreographic schedule and learning dances in 4 hours in one day and being done. The goals I set for myself at the top of the semester were to be more patient and just push myself to be the best version of myself and show up with whatever amount of effort I am able to give that day.

Something that has been a delight for me throughout this process is working with all these awesome dancers and seeing the professionalism being put into every rehearsal. This has been a big inspiration for me and has pushed me to be more determined throughout this process. This goes along with pushing the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the semester. Being more persistent and driven is the biggest goal for myself. Some connections ive made connecting these experiences and my other life experiences have been so exponential and this whole process has given me so much strength to push through all these speed bumps that life has brought upon me this semester.

Final Reflection

Yay! Final reflection. This process has been so incredibly rewarding and I am so sad it has come to a final close. I have grown so much as not only a dancer but as a person and a peer in this cast. I have become much more open to feedback and my patience with it all has shown in how grateful I am to have a part of this process to begin with. My goals at the beginning of the semester were to be better. Do better. And deserve better. I feel as though this process has helped me to develop the skills I need to do exactly that and which I am so grateful for. Something I am taking away from this process is my love to dance again. After such a hard year from last year not being able to dance or perform that put such a toll on my passion that I had grown so strongly in for years.Performing again made me realize why I chose to dance in college all over again.
