In his article, he talks about the place of superheroes in the society. He says that Holywood is throwing more money into superhero films and that these films got more complex over time. The image of a superhero changed , now there are heroes with each one their own defaults ( Hancock , Tony Stark , Hellboy ...) These characters were humanized compared to old superheroes like Captain America or Superman who were perfect and seen like gods. The comics were invented by America and the author of the article compares it to the the ancient greeks : the Greeks had their Pantheon and the Americans have their superheroes. Some even call it the "superhero mythology". At the end , the autor quotes two people : Gale Hanne Hurd and Del Toro who responded to the question of the longetivityof superhero films.
