A large pile of 4 pieces of furniture someone left out on on my street as trash, it makes me feel sad that lots of people need furniture and some throw it out.

I found 7 pieces of food packaging trash that people must have thrown out of their windows when leaving the McDonald's down the block. While people's disregard for the health of the environment annoys me, I understand their laziness and carelessness; however, the random shopping carts that appear as if from nowhere make me confused... why are they on my block, what are they for, and who walked them over there?
