6 million Jewish men, women, and children were dragged from their homes and sent to concentration camps, where they would endure long work days and ultimately be killed. This genocide of Jewish people is called the holocaust. It occurred during the 1940s, in Europe. Why? Because after WW1 both sides signed the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty extensively punished Germany by making them pay reparations, demilitarize, and give up territory and colonies. Overall, Germany after WW1 was humiliated and struggled, but when a promising upcoming political leader, Adolf Hitler, promised he could fix Germany, he quickly rose to power through the Nazi Party. This party soon escalated to their true intentions and was called the final solution. The final solution was a plan to kill millions of Jews under the guise that it would help Europe. This is an obvious violation of human rights as everybody deserves the right to life.

Between 1942 and 1945 more than 125,000 innocent Japanese Americans were relocated to and held in detention camps in the middle of nowhere by the Department of war. These camps consisted of small army-style barracks and had cafeterias, schools, hospitals, and laundry services.
Why? After the attack on pearl harbor, a very important military base in the Pacific was attacked by Japanese aircraft, the War Department of the Us questioned whether or not Japanese Americans might sabotage or be spying for Japan. This is an obvious violation of human rights as these people have had their freedoms taken away all because their home countries attacked their host country.

Historically and Current human rights violations: Native Americans taken land and unfair treatment

At least 6,000 Native american suffered and were killed on the trail of tears after Andrew Jackson signed the Indian removal act in 1830. Thanks to this act, the Native Americans who originally lived on the land were forced to relocate to unsettled lands, and are continuing to be mistreated to this day. The mistreatment of Native Americans has begun when Christopher Columbus took his first step on shore and continues to this day when big corporations dump polluting chemicals in the water and air near their respective territory which kills the wildlife they live off. This is an obvious violation of human rights as nobody should face discrimination based on the color of their skin and deserves to have their culture respected.
