Ms. Rubin declared herself as a survivor, a lucky survivor. She compares herself to the other Holocaust survivors to give us an idea of where her story can lead to. She gives details and comparison to her grandmother's age to present day to create context of how old she was. Emphasis on her parents' business made her parents relate to present day business owners to show their success and what they had to leave behind and all. Ms. Rubin used quite a bit of Ethos to relate her story, compare her story, and create importance on her family all throughout her speech.
