I changed my curriculum planning, and modified my breadth. I also had found AI playing a role in the past year so I thought hard about how to teach this first trimester. I changed things for that as well. One thing I added is writer's workshop. We write every Tuesday, and focus on skills as well. I think this has been successful, and has provided a chance to support the needs of scholars. For AI, it is coming up again, but writing in class as opposed to only at home has prepared us. I have learned that private high schools in the area are also having essays written at school. I feel on the right track.
