I don't know what it looks like though. How does one measure the effectiveness? How do we ensure students are getting what they need rather just what they are interested in? There must be a foundation of skills and information common to all. Without the foundation, how can we build something new? I like the idea of "learning literacies" and promoting curiosity and what is a student's "learning DNA."

I really love this app! It seems like a such a cool opportunity since I already use TED Talks in class, but now I can make the assignment a part of the video instead of having to pause every couple of minutes to check for learning. The more I can have students go at their own pace, the better. Is the school going to in on premium for this? Right now I can only do ten lessons, but I'd love to use this more. It says we can get individual plans for free if we present (which I'm happy to do), but then only the presenter gets the full application. I think this is worth investigating.
