My name is Afiqah Syahirah binti Mohd Yusuf,I’m 21 years old now . I'm living in Cheras, Selangor and I’m from Kuliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences as an accounting student. I’m at my first year first semester right now.I love to do something extreme sports such as hiking or jungle trekking.I don’t have any talent that I can be proud of myself but I always proud of myself at anything I did.

I’m proud to say that I’m STPM student,some people might think that STPM is for loser person but for me or maybe others STPM student will say that STPM was really challenging. In STPM I take Pengajian Am,Mathematics M,Economics and Account subject. I’m proud to be here in IIUM using my STPM result.I hope that I can survive in my degree journey like how I survived in STPM.Goodluck everyone !

Adab as Students

In Islam, "adab" is grounded in Islamic ethics and is understood generally to refer to Islamic etiquette of displaying commendable character and manners.

My part is about the example of adab as a student,

"Adab" in the context of being a student refers to ethical behavior, manners, and proper conduct. It encompasses qualities like respect for teachers, fellow students, and the learning environment. Being courteous, attentive, and disciplined in your studies reflects good "adab" as a student. It contributes to a positive and productive educational experience for everyone involved.

My first class usrah is about introducing the classmate. Our sister Sarah also explain to us how the usrah class will be going in this semester plus about our activities and assignments.I really enjoyed this class because I manage to know a lot of people from many backgrounds.

Favourite Ayyah Al-Quran

In this class Sister Sarah ask us to give one our favourite ayyah in Al-Quran .

My favourite ayyah is

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

Artinya : "Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jadikanlah sabar dan shalat sebagai penolongmu, sesungguhnya Allah bersama orang-orang yang sabar." (Q.S Al-Baqarah: 153)

From the verse it is clear that patience means a lot in our lives. Of course, patience trains us a lot. I always remember this verse if I feel angry or have a problem.

Al-Qiyamah

Yawm al-Qiyamah (Arabic: يوم القيامة‎ Yawm al-Qiyāmah, "the Day of Resurrection") is the Day of Judgement, resurrection.

Qayamat is an important concept in Islam . On this day, after death, humans will be judged. The good who followed Allah's laws (halal) will go to heaven (Jannat) and the rest who broke Allah's law (haram) will go to hell (Jahannum).
