Creating more vivid writing by William Kincl

Instructions: Click the + icon in the bottom right corner to create a new post. Post your name as the title in the "HELP" if you want feedback, or "LOOK!" if you just want to share. In the body of the post, write a paragraph or section of your writing that you want share, either because its awesome (LOOK!) or because you want some help to make it more vivid (HELP!).

Then, leave suggestions or positive comments for other people's writing in the appropriate column. Start your comment with RE: Theirname (See example). Consult your tips to make writing more effective: vivid details, a grace note, delightful jolt, keeping it focused. When giving feedback, make sure it's constructive and upbeat!

Last year in 2017 around April, Ms. Perkins and Nathan Russom got into it in the Math classroom. Perkins was a bit of a tease and laughed at Nathan as he was mad and upset. Nathan asked for a pencil and Perkins had a smart mouth and didn’t want to give him a pencil to do his work. About 10 minutes go by and Perkins starts yelling at Nathan for not getting his work done. Nathan starts to explain how she wouldn’t give him a pencil even though she had a whole bucket of pencils, and for that reason he couldn’t do his work. They start going back and fourth arguing about how his work wasn’t done. She then calls Nathan’s mother and while on the phone with her Perkins starts talking extra loud so the whole class can hear the whole entire conversation and then the class starts to yell at Perkins saying “that’s his personal business why do you have to tell the whole class?” And soon Nathan is sent to the office and as he walks out of the class he yells “you’re not a god, you’re Satan!”

A young girl reported dozens of missing KitKat’s from her home only 2 days after Halloween.

On November 2nd ,2017 in Seattle, Washington at 8:30pm Kathryn Soria had entered her house and eaten her dinner. After she had walked over to her room and had begun to look for KitKat bars. She had looked through 3 bags of candy but could not find not one of her 42 KitKat bars. She asked her parents if they had eaten any and had asked her sisters.

Her family all had the same answers, ''No''

She did not believe them so she searched all around her house for KitKat wrappers. She had found nothing however the following morning she had entered her father's car to drive to school and found many KitKat candy wrappers in her father's car. Kathryn had ignored her father but he repeatedly said'' I am sorry but I will not buy anymore KitKat’s because these are unhealthy'' On the way to school. Kathryn leaves her father's car to go to school. As she leaves, her father laughs and pulls a KitKat bar from his pocket and eats it in front of her.

So that’s the mystery. Remember always protect your candy especially your KitKat's from the ones around you. Keep your most valuable possessions safe.

Today, it seems his tournament puff is unbeatable, as he has now won the last 6 major tournaments in a row with it. Hungrybox almost lost to Mango in the winners bracket, and caught up and won from a 2-0 score. Mango says “I’ve been coasting all year, but losing to hbox really pissed me off. Next time i’ll actually try.” Thank you to Mango for letting us interview you. You can now get back to your beer and twitch subs. Hungrybox won these winners finals over Armada, who was the previous champion of Smash Summit. Armada had won the last 4 Summits, which, as you may have guessed, is all of them. Summit 1 winners finals consisted of Armada and Mango, and the next 3 summits were Armada Vs Hungrybox. Although, this is the first time Hungrybox has won summit, and finally breaks the wall of victory that Armada has been building. After his win, Hungrybox gave a speech at the crowd mic by the commentators. He is not a very well liked player, to say the least, because of his slower and more patient playstyle. He says thank you for the support and curses at all of the people that hate him, crying all the while.

On Monday at a residence house it was black a blowing wind up to 50 miles a hour. On Tuesday at Seattle public school; Stem many students commented on the on the stormy wether black as night. On Wednesday a resident was walking home from school and reported that the wind was light and the sky bright.

Yesterday , in the Louisa Boren Stem K-8 Gym , the little kids were having a great time testing their strength playing volleyball, riding scooters into things, bouncing off bouncy balls, and throwing flower sticks at each other. Henry Geltz had observed was that most of these kids had a system they ran off of, if not playing a game. It went something like this; they slap someone ——> they run away ——> they faceplant ——> repeat. It was also quite entertaining watching them all dab so much. We spoke to one of these kids, named Dylan, who said “What” and then turned around and ran away. These kids also scared my colleagues multiple times. One, when a kid almost got clotheslined while running under the volleyball net, and when they rammed into each other while riding the scooters. It was obvious that these kids enjoyed hurting each other and making a fool of themselves.

(Work in progress)
