It will eventually hit the ground because of the gravitational pull of the earth. The force of interia makes the ball move forward, but Earth's gravity pulls it to the ground.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Because gravity would pull it down to the ground. Also, it would happen every time unless the baseball was somehow hit hard enough to send it into orbit. Also, the ball would keep moving because an unbalanced force hit the ball and overcame the inertia. The ball would keep moving because the force would be so powerful it would keep going until air resistance and gravity became more powerful than the unbalanced force.</div>]]></description>
