Conflict-She is going against a new girl this year and really doesn't worry about it but she still wants to win. She also has to confront Gretchen and the girls who at one point were her friends.

Rising action-She practiced running anytime she could even if it did mean getting in trouble with her parents and getting hit. She practice breathing exercises and all of the other things she can do until the day comes.

Climax-The day comes and she is racing and imagining that she is flying through really nice landscapes. She can see Gretchen beside her which means she is really close. They pass the finish line and are waiting for the answers. Squeaky wins.

Falling Action- She sees Raymond climb the fence and realises his potential. She even makes peace with Gretchen who at one point was her enemy.

Resolution- She decides she might quit running and show Raymond how to run. She realizes that there are more important things to her than winning.

   

      Conflict - Gretchen and her friends keep telling Squeaky that she will lose the 5o yard dash this year. But Squeaky’s confidence continues to stay up.

        Rising Action - So it’s now the day of the race and the pressure is on. Squeaky and her brother show up for the run. 

         Climax - The 50 yard dash runners are called up and now we are going to see who wins. Squeaky wins yet another year.

        Falling Action - Finding out that Squeaky won another year and to see her brother run with the rest.

        Resolution - Everything settled after the race was over with and  Gretchen and Squeaky hugged and showed amazing sportsmanship. Squeaky now sees that there are more important things to do other that winning.

Conflict- I think the conflict of the story is squeaky trying to prove herself and trying to figure out who she is as a person she is very confident and sure she can do good but she always has a feeling like she is trying to prove herself.She is continuously trying to prove that she is the fastest person and better at whatever she does

Rising Action -The rising action was that squeaky liked to run and she was good at it so when ever there was a race she wanted to compete and win but she had a little competition sometimes but her main reasoning for racing is to win but deep down she really wanted to beat her enemy and her name was greachen

Climax- The story also includes the feelings that Squeaky overcomes as she prepares herself to run . When she starts running and looks to the side she see’s her brother running also for the first time which amazes her because he is a good runner like herself.  

Falling Action- The falling action is when the person on the intercome begins to announce who won. At one point in the story she did question herself did her or Gretchen win. She also is proud of her brother for running and Raymond is still cheering her own. 

Resolution- Squeaky realizes that winning isn’t everything anymore and that her brother can run like her now so she can spend her days being his coah and he be the champion. She also considers doing piono and other activities. She does this because she has lots of metal and awards but, what does Raymond have to call his own ?

Conflict: Haters were throwing shade about Gretchen and her crew being better and winning, Squeaky in the race..and she had to prove them WRONG…. 

Rising Action: Gretchen and her crew had met Hazel and Raymond in front of a candy store and was about to beef. Squeaky would rather fight you then talk to you.  So she defends her and her brother and continues her breathing exercise while she walks. 

Climax: Squeaky puts her brother in the swings and walks to find the man to get her number. When she finds him he starts talking down on her. So she walks toward the track and starts stretching. The announcer man yells on your march. Squeaky gets ready and  then he yells go. So Squeaky takes of and sees nobody to the left of her but when she looks to her right she sees a blurred version of Gretchen and her brother running. Gretchen and her overshot the finish line. 

Falling action was when Squeaky and Gretchen were waiting for the results of who won.

Resolution was when they found out Squeaky had won. She was proud of Raymond for seeing him in his first run, and glad for Gretchen because she got 2nd place, and showed she tried.

Climax- It’s the day of the race and she is racing imagining all of these things and her and gretchen are both close to the finish line. Then they both passed and started waiting for the results, which lead to her actually winning. 

Falling Action- She sees Raymond potential in racing when she sees him climb the fence, and she also makes friends with Gretchen who was her enemy at first.

Resolution- She starts thinking about Raymond’s future in racing. She starts thinking about coaching him and her next steps in life.
