  • Before: The wealth gap was big between the rich and the poor. There was a large number of poor people, a small amount of very rich people and very little of the middle class.
  • After: Increase of wealth due to the demand for jobs in factories, creating an uprising of the middle class due to a more stable income from paychecks and salaries.
Urban and Rural Population
  • Before: Population density was more spread out across the country due to most of the people working in local stations in the countryside, where people didn't need to move away from home for jobs.
  • After: People began moving to the city in order to find better jobs in factories due to the industrial revolution overtaking local businesses. Due to this, homes and buildings for workers so they wouldn't have to travel a long way home every day.
Living Standards
  • Before: The living standard was very low because a lot of the population was poor while there was very little of the middle class.
  • After: The living standard was much higher because as with more stable income, more people were able to support themselves.
Norms and Values
  • Before: People used to be accustomed to a life of leisure without much need to look at a clock and parents stayed home to look after children.
  • After: People began timing their way of living and parents were unable to stay at home to look after their kids as often as before due to having to work outside of home.

Living Standards:1.Before:people 's living standards were low.2.After:the living standards increased a lot and people  benefited from the development of transportation and technology.

Norms and Values:
1.before:people used to be isolated from the world and their knowledge related to the Norms and Values are limited. liveing in a small-scale peasant society.
2.After：People engaged in big society and pay their more attention to the local society.Some norm and values such as individual liberty,religion tolarence appeared because of the development of scientific understanding.
