Two of my former students are going to join us on Thursday from 7-8 to talk about their experiences studying abroad in the US. Luiza is Brazilian, and Rawan Almosen is from Saudi Arabia (and still lives in the US). They're both really amazing young women and are writing up some information about themselves for you. As soon as I get it, I'll post it here for you to get a little idea of who they are. We'll have some time at the beginning of the meeting to work on questions but please add some here too so they can have an idea of what you are interested in.

“I am from São Paulo and I've studied in ELS from feb/2012 until July of the same year. I lived in a host family, they were incredible people and I've been in contact with them until today. They were extremely important during my period in Santa Monica.
Nowadays I am graduated in International business and I am working at an american multinational company, called Elanco Animal Health. I am responsible for the export processes from Brazil to Latin America and few countries of Europe, Asia and Africa.
I basically use my English everyday , it helped me to get my intern position at the company in 2016 and been able to communicate in English with other countries has helped me to get the position that I am right now!

She is originally from Dammam, which is on the East Coast of Saudi Arabia. She studied English at ELS in 2012 in Santa Monica, and then moved to the East Coast of the United States where she studied Graphic Design at Drexel University in Philidelphia where she still lives.
