Godparents (a person who presents a child at baptism and promises to take responsibility for their religious education) agree that they are responsible for the religious upbringing if the parents cannot. People who have repented their sins and lived justly go to heaven, the sinful will suffer in hell,and the people in between wait in purgatory. The belief of eternal life is common to all. A sacrament (which was once called a Extreme Unction) called Last Rites or Anointing of the Sick is given to gravely ill people. The sick individual  asks for forgiveness of their sins. If unable to do so a minister does in their stead. A wake is a period of mourning and prayer at a funeral. The funeral contains prayers and speeches.
