         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cabinet contains the three executive departments and was created in 1789. Inside it is the Department of State which handles relations with other countries, Department of war which handles the military and defends the nation, and the Department of the Treasury which oversees finances. The first men to be chosen to be  in charge of these departments by George Washington were Thomas Jefferson with the Department of state, Henry Knox with the Department of War, and Alexander Hamilton with the Secretary of the Treasure.</div>]]></description>
